Crab Clan
From Heroes Of Rokugan
Status of the Crab Clan: 1137
No one could punish the Crab for their alliance with the Shadowlands during the Clan War any more than the Crab have already punished themselves, and woe to the fool who brings up the subject. The lands of the Crab were ravaged just as the rest of the empire was during the following period of anarchy, but as always, they have rebuilt themselves, renewing their focus on the defense of the Empire. Never again!
- Crab Clan Champion: Hida O-Ushi
- Hida Family Daimyo: Hida O-Ushi

- Kaiu Family Daimyo: Kaiu Utsu
- Kuni Family Daimyo: Kuni Utagu
- Toritaka Family Daimyo: Toritaka Tatsune
- Yasuki Family Daimyo: Yasuki Oguri
The Crab’s views on the other clans:
- Crane: Why can’t they all be like the Daidoji?
- Dragon: They respect us for what we do, and for that, we respect them. It’s a good thing that most of their family is more useful than the tattooed men.
- Lion: If they would only focus their might on the Empire’s true enemies!
- Mantis: Our little cousins do much to help us, and they defend the Empire where we cannot. They hold their liquor well, too.
- Phoenix: Their expertise in magic is unparalleled. Their obsession with peace is a weakness, though.
- Scorpion: Who is the Fortune of Putting Up With Your Crap, again?
- Unicorn: They are different, but strong, and they help the Hiruma in ways that no others have. They have earned our respect.
- Minor Clans: Some are worthy of respect, some not. Mostly, just avoid ‘em.
- Ronin: They have their place, and if they are worthy, their place may be with us.
