Background
A returned spirit, Jotaka has had a long time to study himself and what he knows of the Empire. When he returned, he sought out the Toritaka, in order that they might use his status as a returned spirit in order to further their understanding of returned spirits. Since that time he has fought upon the Wall, as well as wandered the Empire in pursuit of the lost knowledge of the Boar clan.
Youth
Back in the 5th century, Jotaka's youth entailed his instruction and training within an aged sumai stable. He never excelled there, and a number of injuries damaged his sight. Still, he had enough wins to remain in the stable, up until the time of his death while he was traveling back to Boar lands shortly before their great destruction.
Hobbies
He pursues the knowledge of the Heichi Bushi School and is in the process of relearning their techniques. One day he hopes to open a dojo, to bring the techniques of the Boar once more into the Empire. He's also an avid fan of sumai, paying close attention to the different sumai circuits of the empire.
