Background
Oturi is large, gruff, and quiet. He is rarely seen outside of Kyuden Hida or the wall. Rumors (and Hida who don’t care) tend to suggest that this is rather intentional, as apparently his opinions of the various great clans aren’t particularly high. Many are not particularly happy about the fact that he has not requested seppuku in the wake of the death of the Emperor: he has simply stated that Toturi IX made the choice to fight despite every attempt to persuade him otherwise means that the consequences were his own to accept.
