Before his predecessor’s death just days before the coronation of Toturi X, Heichi Rokitsu was a well-known and respected Taisa of the Shogun’s Legion. Said to be a good friend of the former Shogun, he was often called upon for tactical advice. He was present at the battle that lost the Emperor and his friend, but he walked away with only a new scar and a great deal of respect… even from the crab.

  • Owl Clan Champion: Hantei Kujaru

Just 16, he is a known prodigious talent in the Hantei Bushi dojo. His father retired early for him to take the mantle, confident in his ability to lead. For his part, he is an effective, if inexperienced, statesman, who at the moment is known more for his antipathy for the Scorpion champion than any personal accomplishments.

  • The Chise family Daimyo: Chise Ashihime

Ashihime is one of those few daimyo that is seen just enough to know that she is still alive, but even suggesting that is a stretch. She prefers to study the forests of Rokugan and the creatures that dwell within it, and has on more than one occasion been missing for months at a time. Her husband, Chise Ikase no Doji, handles much of the daily running of the family.
