Isawa Koraze is the de facto daimyo of the Isawa family as well as the Master of Fire. In sharp contrast to the fiery reputation of fire shugenja, Koraze is known for his patience, calm, and preference for pacifism. He is well liked by most who meet him, and even those who normally tend to dislike the Phoenix usually find begrudging respect for him.
