Mirumoto Kissaki is a returned spirit, originally from the Dawn of the Empire period of Rokugan. A student of Mirumoto Hojatsu, he fell in the year 42 while defending the Hantei from an oni and was sent to Yomi for his eternal reward. When Toturi I came asking for soldiers to fight the Shadow, Kissaki immediately volunteered. He is now a sensei in the Mirumoto Iron Mountain dojo, a student the Soul of the Dragon Dojo (Hojatsu's Legacy), and an assistant in the Imperial Dojo. However, this last appointment has been put on indefinite hiatus due to health concerns.
