Moshi Suri is a young prodigy who had he been born into any other family would have immediately been recognized as such. But having been born into the Moshi it took some time for the sheer strength of his gift to recognized.

Background
Childhood
As a boy, Suri moved through his training rapidly. He was "trained" by his Moshi sisters and as such his talents went unnoticed until he passed his gempuku at the age of thirteen. Besides his parent's, the only other two people to notice his advanced skills were his older sister, Jiroko. A Woman who is ten years his senior and his principle sensei, Moshi Zhao, a particularly pathetic shugenja. Most of what he knows he ended up learning himself.
His parent's his sensei agreed that the only way for the young man who just breezed through his gempuku was to send him off to the Mantis Isles. Away from the female dominate politics of the Moshi Valley. Thus after his Gempuku he found himself being sent to Toshi No Inazuma.
Interests: Metaphysics
One of Suri's defining interests is understand the nature of the kami themselves.
