Background

The Andrew line is rightly considered something of an oddity. Its said that Shinjo Andrew I choose the name and swore to maintain it down the generations as a reminder for her and all her lineage to never forget the lessons learned by her own ancestors, who were among the Moto who visited Merenae.

This and other oddities that tend to crop up in this thin segment of the Shinjo family have largely relegated them to the remote Haisho Province.

Pronounced "Ho'zeh", Andrew XII's steed is a brown and white appaloosa with a peculiar air of arrogance about him. The creature seem to genuinely have no time for anyone, his master included. He's often difficult to manage unless confronted with some degree of challenge, be it rough terrain or endurance running.

It's possible he was a samurai in a former life that Emma-O saw fit to humble with this form. If this is the case, it seems the lesson goes yet unlearned.
