Chris is an independent gamer in the Greater Kalamazoo area. Chris primarily games at Gencon but also catches pick up games on the internet. He does not have a regular playgroup but he has tried to form one in the past.

Role Playing Games

Chris has played role playing games for well over 20 years, since he was playing an elf out of the D&D red box. That is the original red bod, not the D&D 4th edition remake. In that time he has played various editions of D&D, GURPS, MechWarrior, RIFRS and many other game systems on top of Legend of the Five rings.

Legend of the Five Rings

Chris has been playing L5R is both its forms on and off since around 2000. He can not say to have played the CCG back in the day, but he has played both the RPG and CCG for a long time. He as run a number of games in Rokugan but this is his first time playing in a living setting for the game.

Since early on when playing the CCG Chris has supported three factions after a breif mistake with the Crab. The Three Factions that he tends to play in order of support are Mantis, Minor clans and Dragon. The Mantis clan is by far Chris' favorite Clan and is the clan that he identifies with and supports in the CCG and Canonical L5R.
