Matsu Kyohaku, Champion of the Lion:

The daimyo of the Matsu family, Kyohaku has more direct military experience than most of the rest of her clan due to the Scorpion’s aggression this generation.

She did not expect to take the position as champion, but when the clan needed her leadership, she stepped up.

Kyohaku is a devoted servant of the Emperor, and while she is a Matsu to the bone, she understands that the best service to the throne is not always unfettered rage. This ensures that when her duties call upon her to release it, that rage is honed to a razor 's edge. So far, she has kept her desire for revenge over the death of a younger sister in the Lion's Pride in check.
