Background

Born into an unimportant yet studious family of the Seppun, his father a member of the Hidden Guard, his mother a researcher. The third of four children, Ryo showed a talent for learning and reading early on. Soon his magical aptitude showed as well, and from a young age it was a given that he would attend the same school as his father. Upon completing his gempukku, Ryo went to work in the Seppun Library, organizing the works there and doing research into all matters that he could.

Recently, Ryo has found himself more and more out in the field rather than at his home in Kyuden Seppun. The introverted scholar has had to branch out, seeing combat and scandal alike. None the less, the more his life has changed, the more stubbornly he has retained his academic, honor bound view of the world and people.
